Every time I finish a senior portrait session I feel refreshed and inspired. These seniors are in such an exciting time in their lives and to get to share in that even just a little bit is so fun for me. I got to photograph a really great group of students this past season and I'm really proud of the images we got. I'm looking forward to Spring (even though it's so far away) and getting to work with this fun age group. Here's a few of my favorites from my 2015 season in senior photography.

And here we are! Shannon was the last senior I got the pleasure of photographing in 2015 and it was a great way to end my senior season. We met at Dream Acres Equestrian Center to take some portraits with her horse, Alex. We then went over to her home for some additional portraits by the water. Here are some of my favorites from our time together. Thank you Shannon for having me take your senior pictures!
I met Mary and her mom in downtown Hallowell for her senior portraits last Fall. I love shooting there because of all the different backdrops it has in one spot. There are cute colorful buildings, docks onto water, and much to our delight plenty of Fall foliage. Mary opted to get her hair and make up done at LUX, a really cute hair salon right in downtown. Mary looked fabulous and I loved how she was up for anything! I'm so happy with the resulting photos and am excited to share some! Have a great rest of your senior year Mary!
I got to meet and photograph Amanda through my relationship with my old college friend, Ashley. They had me come down to Augusta for Amanda's senior session and I had a blast photographing her and getting the chance to see Ashley again. Amanda is a smart cookie who knows what she wants and I'm sure she'll get it. Good luck next year Ashley! Here is a few of my favorites from our session.
I got to meet with Makayla, her parents, and boyfriend Danny a week ago at the University of Maine campus gardens. I love the gardens, because there always seems to be good lighting no matter what time of day and there is always something in bloom no mater what part of the summer. When we got there we noticed a lot of color and fresh flowers around the courtyard. The flowers along with the interesting architecture on campus made for some great backdrops for Makayla's senior portraits. Thanks so much for having me take your pictures Makayla! I'm excited for you and your final year of high school. Good luck in the future!
