I'm so happy to now share the wedding day of Becky and Rich! Becky got my name from her friend Jessica. I did a fly fishing newly wed session for Jessica and her husband last year. I was so honored that she would refer me and that Becky ultimately chose me to photograph her wedding.
Her and Rich decided to have their wedding at the 1774 Inn in Phippsburg Maine. They had a group of about 20 close friends and family members and The Inn was the perfect spot for their intimate wedding. Popham beach was only a short distance away so they opted to have their ceremony there and a champagne brunch back at the inn. I met them early the day of and started things off photographing Becky while she got ready with her daughters, sister, and nieces. I loved getting to photograph at the Inn. The rooms were beautifully decorated and had lots of natural light coming through the large windows.
Once everyone was ready to go we all went over to Popham beach and met the rest of Becky and Rich's guests. They were married by Becky's best friend who became ordained just to perform the ceremony. The two daughters acted as flower girls, the youngest son as a ring bearer, and Becky's oldest son walked her down the aisle. I love how the incorporated the kids and their closes of friends into the ceremony. It made it that much more special.
Then it was back over to the Inn where they celebrated over brunch and champagne. The details of the reception went with their beach theme. One highlight was the giant sandcastle wedding cake.
Becky's best friend, and two sons toasted to the couple with some very nice words. Her youngest son gave an impromptu speech that had everyone smiling.
Then it was onto the dancing, bouquet toss, and garter throw. Everyone participated and had a great time. Especially the youngest daughter Maisie who as you can see from the picture below, LOVES to dance.
I have to end with this sweet photo of Becky and her daughter. Thank you so much for having me photograph your wedding Becky and Rich! Congratulations!
