A lot of great things came together to make this engagement session a perfect one in my book! The people, the place, the sunset all worked and flowed so well together and I'm really happy to have these images in my arsenal. I met Elise and Kevin almost a year ago when I photographed Elise's cousin Kristin's wedding. We met for coffee the day after while they were in town and I'm so glad they ultimately decided to have me as their photographer. I've gotten to work within the family quite a few times now with engagement sessions and weddings. I also saw them at Elise's sister, Katelyn's wedding last June. They will be getting married in Portland at the beautiful Grace in October. During their session, between walks between spots I got to hear more of the details of there day that got me giddy. The timeline is coming together and I'm pretty pumped to ride a trolley with them through Portland on their wedding day while stopping at various iconic spots for portraits. Sounds like a wedding photographer's dream!
But for now- they opted to have their engagement session at Kettle Cove in Cape Elizabeth. I had shot there once before and it will always be a favorite of mine as it has a lot going on at one spot. These two were all smiles and up for anything. Thank you so much for the amazing time and resulting amazing pictures! See you two soon!
