eh-he-hem... Ladies and gentlemen! Without further ado...the wedding story of Kelsey and Ty told through pictures with light commentary.
It was a BEAUTIFUL day. I remember looking out on the landscape with Kelsey's mother, and her and I agreeing that the scene in front of us was the kind of scene that people paint. And it is just that. The Mountain House on Sunday River is a gem of a location with many lovely nooks.
Kelsey got ready on site with some of her family and friends watching on and providing only the best of wedding day prep music.
Yes Kelsey! You are a BRIDE!!!!
This one of Kelsey and her mother is one of my all time favorites.
Meanwhile... over at the guy's bungalow- A little issue with a loose bow-tie. No need to worry! Nothing a quick YouTube tutorial can't fix.
And now for the first look- This was the FIRST first look I have ever been fortunate to witness and I LOVED it. Kelsey and Ty had their immediate families look on and it made the moment even more sweet.
Kelsey's mother and aunt then surprised her with this set up of her two childhood teddy bears waiting at the wedding site with this sign.
There was some gift giving and tears.
And a sort of second 'first look' with Kelsey's grandfather.
Then it was wedding time! They choose to have the ceremony conducted in the field because of the stunning views.
Ty got TWO high fives on the walk out.
And then it was onto the reception, which was detailed with the sweetest home made gifts and souvenirs.
ME: Hey guys LOOK! Your wedding is behind you!
The reception had many fun speeches from the parents and brothers. This is after Ty's mother reassured her two boys that, "It's not that I don't love you... It's just that I love her more".
After the cake was cut Kelsey, Ty and I escaped to the field to take some more pictures in the amazing light. It's something I recommend every couple does!
And then it was onto the dancing and THIS lot... bunch of dancing FOOLS I tell ya. It was clear that everyone had an amazing time celebrating the married couple.
Kelsey and Ty- Thank you SO much for having me be a part of your most special and beautiful day! I feel really fortunate to have been there.
