Olivia and Joe's wedding day was simply beautiful. The weather was perfect, there was so much love being thrown around, and the COLORS, oh don't even get me started on the colors. The perfect Maine fall foliage provided a stunning backdrop to the whole event. Here are a few of my favorite pictures taken from their big day.
I started my day with Olivia and her bridesmaids at Olivia's grandparent's house. The bridesmaids were all ready to go so we went outside for their portraits.
Then it was time to get the dress on. With the assistance of her mother and sister Olivia dived into her gorgeous gown.
Olivia and her mother making eye contact in the reflection is what started the waterworks. It was kind of a domino effect from there.
Then we all went onto the front porch for some bridal party shots.
And now for my favorite blooper of the day- a BEE attack! These ladies took it in stride though and looked beautiful... even while dodging an insect!
Then it was onto the church! Laurel Hill Chapel was unlike any church I had ever seen before. It was beautiful in a rustic gotich way and the foliage boarded it perfectly.
Joe was smiling from ear to ear in the moments before Olivia and her bridesmaids entered. He jokingly yelled over the church to the usher, who was closing the door before their entrances to, "Make sure you ask for the password!"
After the ceremony Olivia and Joe received all their guests on the way out. There were some really touching moments.
Once all the guests were out I met with some more of the bridal party and Olivia and Joe's family for some more formal shots.
Congratulations Olivia and Joe! Thank you for having me be a part of your special day!
